Extremely advanced COCHLEAR Implant Surgery concludes at United CIIGMA Hospital.
For the deaf and dumb patients for whom, the traditional hearing aids are not helpful, the COCHLEAR implant surgery is a boon. Dr. Milind Kirtane, Mumbai and Dr. Ramesh Rohiwal performed the surgery. The responsibility of anesthesia in this surgery was taken by Dr. Balaji Azegaonkar, Dr.Sujata Zine, Dr. Ravi Kulkarni and his colleagues.
During this surgery, Dr. Swati Sonar of COCHLEAR and Audiologist Dr.Priya Bhale provided valuable support. United CIIGMA Hospital’s Surgery Department got the surgical help from Seema Sister, Pankaj, Meenal Radke.

Dr. Ramesh Rohiwal said that that United CIIGMA Hospital is the only hospital to be registered for the ADIP scheme of the Central Government. Thus, free cochlear implant surgery can be done in the entire Marathwada for below poverty line patients.
