What We Do

We perform all types of Adult Heart Surgeries. In the last 10 years we have performed over 3500 open heart surgeries.
All types of chest and lung surgeries are performed on a regular basis.
United CIIGMA Hospital is the first hospital in Maharashtra (Excluding Mumbai) to get permission for Heart Transplant in November 2016 and performed first Heart Transplant in February 2017.

About CARDIOTHORACIC AND VASCULAR SURGERY

The Department of Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery is a fully equipped department to manage most of the cases of heart surgery. It has all the advanced equipment including Intra-aortic Balloon Pump and ECMO. We have performed over 3500 open heart surgeries and many thoracic and vascular surgeries.

Heart Transplant

Minimally Invasive Heart Surgery

United CIIGMA Hospital was recognized as a Heart Transplant Centre in November 2016.
It was the first hospital in Maharashtra (Outside Mumbai) to get this License.
The first Heart Transplant was performed successfully on 1st February 2017. It was the first Heart Transplant in Maharashtra (Excluding Mumbai).
We have full facilities for the transplant. Whole team is based in United CIIGMA.
There are few more patients at various stages of preparation for transplant.
